Fremont Glass

Fremont Glass

For 46 years Bill has specialized in all things glass. The Fremont Glass Company at 4th and “D” street does auto glass of course. Sliding glass doors. Interior glass for tables and showers. You have a need for anything glass, Bill has it covered. Where you ask, Historic Downtown Fremont of course.

Pupuseria La Moderna

Pupuseria La Moderna

Best known as “Andy’s” Italian Restaurant, this beautiful old downtown building is now the Pupuseria La Moderna. Mostly catering to the style of eats that can be called “real Mexican”. We in Fremont are privileged to have a variety of very good people who offer us their service. Inside we see Alex and Jesus and outside stands Edwin. At 1st and Main street, nothing says Historic Downtown Fremont more then this old historic location.

La Antiqua Mexican Restaurant

La Antiqua Mexican Restaurant

Across the street from the Fremont Tribune newspaper building, north, is La Antigua Mexican Restaurant. Ana, Jose and Marily posed for me last week inside this warm and friendly place. English and Spanish is spoken here. Friendly is also spoken in great abundance. Located on 2nd street just a little west of street right in the heart of Old Downtown Historic Fremont Nebraska.

Fremont Tribune

Fremont Tribune

Started as the Fremont Tribune on July 24th 1868 150 years ago, reporting the news of our community with dedication to local and county government. And may I add, the Tribune office is located in Historic Downtown Fremont.
